The City of Pacific has awarded a contract to Fenix Earthworks, LLC to replace the asbestos concrete water line on Valentine Avenue between County Line Road and 5th Avenue SE. Construction activities will begin on October 2 and are scheduled to continue through October 31. During the hours of construction, the road will be closed to through traffic. Residents on Valentine Avenue will have access to their property but expect some delays.

The traffic will be rerouted through Milwaukee Boulevard during the construction activities. During non-construction hours the Valentine Avenue will be open to through traffic and posted at a lower speed limit.

Flood / Stormwater Pump Station

The City of Pacific is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the design and environmental permitting of a new flood/stormwater pump station on the Government Canal at the location of a future flood-protection levee to be constructed along the right bank of the White River by the King County Flood Control District.
