Potentially Relevant Information










The City of Pacific is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the electrical and structural engineering services for a new public works facility to be located at 224 County Line Road. The current site is partially developed with: a single family residential structure; a 750,000 gallon water storage tank; a domestic and fire suppression booster pump station; a standby emergency generator; and a regional stormwater facility. The requested services, submittal requirements, and selection criteria are described herein.

The project will design improvements that will provide the following elements and others as may be required:

  • Evaluation of existing components for a pre-engineered steel building that the City owns (never assembled).
  • Structural foundation design for a pre-engineered steel building that the City owns. Foundation to have concrete stem wells 3.0 feet above finished grade.
  • Evaluation of existing generator and suitability for providing power to additional components.
  • Electrical power distribution for the site, incorporating existing components and providing the design for power distribution and lighting for new structures to be distributed throughout the site.

A pre-proposal conference will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the public works site, 224 County Line Road SW, Pacific, WA. All prospective proposers are strongly encouraged to attend.
