Boards and Commissions Vacant Positions

The Planning Commission has one vacant adult and one vacant youth position. 

The adult position is a 6-year term and may be a principal in or be employed by a business operating in the city of Pacific
The youth position is a 1-year term for a Pacific youth, 16 to 21 years of age

They meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. 
They review, study, and discuss implications of all land use regulations and major development applications within the City and recommends actions to the Council on these issues.

The Park Board has has one vacant adult and one vacant youth position. 

The adult position is a 3-year term and may reside outside the city as long as they own residential property within the city.
The youth position is a 1-year term for a Pacific youth, 16 to 21 years of age

They meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Members are tasked with recommending improvements to City Park and with prioritizing capital projects and land acquisitions that may be funded with park impact fees. Fundraisers conducted by the Park Board promote community involvement with park enhancements.

The Salary Commission has three vacant adult positions

The positions are a 3-year term and members must be a resident of the city and a registered voter of King County or Pierce County

The commission shall review and set the salaries and, if appropriate, annual adjustments to salaries, of the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Pacific. The commission shall convene and review the salaries of the city council and mayor once every three years, or on an alternative schedule set by a majority of the city council by resolution.
