White River Shoreline Management Plan January 2019 update

01/29/2019

White RiverThe City is embarking on it’s update of the Shoreline Master Program (SMP) along the White River as required by the Washington State Dept. of Ecology (DOE). Under the Washington Administrative Code (WAC), the City must periodically update its SMP to conform with any updates to the shoreline protection requirements in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) or to changing conditions to the river shoreline. BERK Consultants have been hired by the City to assist in the proposed update. Over the next six (6) months, the City’s Planning Commission and City Council will be taking comments regarding the proposed changes.
Questions or comments can be sent to Jack Dodge, Community Development Manager by email or (253) 929-1107.
