City Clerk
The city clerk’s office is dedicated to serving the needs of the public in a friendly, professional, and cooperative manner.
Responsibilities of the City Clerk Include:
- Preparing and posting City Council Meeting Agendas and Minutes
- Uploading City Meeting Recordings
- Updating, codifying, and publishing the Pacific Municipal Code
- Maintaining the city's records and information management program (including retention, imaging, records storage, archiving, and destruction).
- Providing notary services for official city business.
- Serving as liaison to King and Pierce County Elections;
- Preparing and distributing the Pacific Pulse
- Accepts Appeals/Claims for the City/Risk Management
- Processing Public Records Requests
